Time Flies

Summer is drawing to an end.
This means that it is back to school, work, friends, and busy days for the next NINE months.
I have been so busy this past summer that I have barely even thought about this blog!
Some new improvements have happened since we moved in. We FINALLY got curtains in our dinning room, bathroom, and kitchen!

YAY for privacy!

I have worked like crazy all summer but in my spare time, I found that I could get through FIVE whole seasons of Desperate Housewives and TWO whole seasons of Rizzoli and Isles!

I am keeping up with those two shows and am now adding Castle to the mix!

School, sports, friends, working out, shows, and work (not in that order) is sounding more and more busy as the month goes on!

I will start complaining about school soon but I will probably give it a week or so!

Until tomorrow.... or whenever!

Some pictures from this summer.
Oh yeah, turning 21 happened.

FINALLY.

We have internet at our new CASA!

We are all moved in and very excited to have out own place! It is slowly but surely coming along since we moved in during the 4th of July holiday!

We are a week into living on our own and so far we have finished our pallet couch (minus the pretty pillows) and as of, about 5 minutes ago, we got our internet working!

Hopefully I will be able to have time to post some pictures..we have to take some first!

In the mean time, CHEERS to growing up!

the cat is just for fun! :)

The Last Stretch.

Dead week is almost here! This past week has been crazy with homework and projects and all I can say is, "TGIF". I have been very fortunate to hang out with my future roomies at Froyo and I was even able to see my best friend in the whole world for a couple of hours!

My week only gets better, besides me having a tiny tick on my tummy! (eww) Today, Friday, I have no plans. I will finish my art project, learn a song on my ukulele, workout, and probably watch a movie!

Tomorrow, Saturday, I will get my car washed in the morning and be on my way to Seattle by the afternoon! What's in Seattle? THE MARINERS GAME! Of course Monday I will have to return to the reality of school. BUT only two more weeks and it is officially SUMMER!

Besides working, Hoopfest is coming up, my friend will be all moved out, then in July, my roomies and I can join the grownups and move out ourselves!

All I know is that I'm almost there!

Young, Wild && Free

My dad likes to send me random texts once or twice a week. Yesterday he sent me a guideline to living a fulfilling life. Long story short, a nurse put together the most common "regrets" that people stated on their death bed. He said that he could see the wisdom in all of the statements. Funny thing, there are only FIVE! Since I think that it is important to live life to the fullest, I thought that I would share it with y'all!

I WISH. . .
Uno: I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
Dos: I didn't work so hard.
Tres: I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
Quatro: I had stayed in touch with my friends.
Cinco: That I had let myself be happier.

SO. Be true to yourself, do not work too hard, express how you feel, don't let the good friends slip away, and be happy!

I would like to thank my three closest friends/sisters, Katie, Briana, and Monica for being there for me for 15 years and letting me better those 5 wishes in the best way that I can!

The Beginner.

Where to start. I am the beginner. New to the blogging scene, new to writing for expression, new to being an adult..well, almost!

What is "blogging"?
What is "writing for expression"?
What is "an adult"?

What does it all mean?

I have yet to figure it all out.

I am the beginner.
